The four numbers on the label

Every panel has a sticker on the back with these. The station cares about the first two most.

VocBrand page
22.4 V
Open-circuit voltage

The highest voltage the panel makes, with nothing plugged in. This must stay under the station's limit, including on cold mornings.

IscBrand page
13.5 A
Short-circuit current

The most current it can push. Stations cap current; over the cap you lose watts, or on some brands it is not allowed.

VmpBrand page
19.5 V
Voltage at max power

The working voltage while charging. Must be above the station's minimum or charging will not start.

ImpBrand page
12.8 A
Current at max power

The working current while charging. Vmp times Imp is roughly the rated watts.

Why it matters: a station's input limit is a hard number. Two of these panels in series on a 10F morning make 49.7 V. That is fine for a 60 V input and not for a 27 V one.

Quick answers

Which power stations work with the Renogy 250W N-Type Bifacial Solar Panel?

Of the 86 power stations we can check, 80 take one Renogy 250W N-Type Bifacial Solar Panel cleanly, even on a 20°F morning (for example the EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus, EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus, EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3).

What is the open-circuit voltage of the Renogy 250W N-Type Bifacial Solar Panel?

22.4 V on the label (standard test conditions). It rises in the cold: about 24.5 V at 20°F and 25.2 V at 0°F, so check it against your station's limit on your coldest morning.

Can I wire two Renogy 250W N-Type Bifacial Solar Panel panels in series?

In series the voltages add: two make about 44.7 V open-circuit (48.9 V at 20°F). In parallel the currents add: about 27 A. Your station must accept whichever you choose.

How much does the Renogy 250W N-Type Bifacial Solar Panel weigh?

27.3 lb, a rigid framed panel.
