Will the Anker SOLIX PS200 Bifacial work with the BLUETTI Apex 300?

Yes, with a catch. Fine in mild weather (57.6V), but on a 20°F (-7°C) morning the open-circuit voltage rises to about 63.1V, above the 60V limit. Cold makes panels push more voltage. Two panels: works, with a catch (1 panel on Solar input + 1 panel on Solar input), about 400 W.

Quick answers

Will the Anker SOLIX PS200 Bifacial work with the BLUETTI Apex 300?

Yes, with a catch. Fine in mild weather (57.6V), but on a 20°F (-7°C) morning the open-circuit voltage rises to about 63.1V, above the 60V limit. Cold makes panels push more voltage. Two panels: works, with a catch (1 panel on Solar input + 1 panel on Solar input), about 400 W.

Can I connect two PS200 Bifacial panels to the Apex 300?

Yes, 1 panel on Solar input + 1 panel on Solar input. That gives about 400 W, with one catch: Fine in mild weather (57.6V), but on a 20°F (-7°C) morning the open-circuit voltage rises to about 63.1V, above the 60V limit. Cold makes panels push more voltage..

What cable do I need to connect the PS200 Bifacial to the Apex 300?

The panel's plug type is not confirmed yet. Check the label or the box before buying a cable.

Is it safe on a cold morning?

Panel voltage rises in the cold. One PS200 Bifacial goes from 57.6 V on its label to about 63.1 V at 20°F and 65 V at 0°F. The Apex 300 accepts up to 60 V on the Solar input.

Rules we applied
  • BLUETTI Apex 300: solar input 12 to 60 V on the Solar in 1 (Solar input). BLUETTI sets this limit on open-circuit voltage (Voc), so we hold the panels' Voc on your coldest morning to it.
  • Cold raises panel voltage: we add 0.30% per °C below 77F (25°C), a typical figure, since this panel does not publish its own. At 20F one panel's 57.6 V becomes 63.1 V.
  • Current over the 20 A cap is safe: the station takes 20 A and you get fewer watts. We count only the capped watts.
  • Max 1,200 W on this input, 2,400 W across all inputs.
Assumptions
  • Cold-morning voltage uses 0.30% per °C, typical for crystalline panels. This panel's own value is not published.
  • Expected watts are the best case in full sun. Real-world midday output is usually 60 to 80% of that.
  • Some numbers for Anker SOLIX PS200 Bifacial come from a shop listing we have not confirmed in the manual yet.
