Will the EcoFlow 400W Portable Solar Panel work with the BLUETTI Apex 300?

Yes. One EcoFlow 400W Portable Solar Panel works with the BLUETTI Apex 300: about 52.6 V on a 20°F morning against the station's 60 V limit, and about 400 W in full sun. Two panels: works (1 panel on Solar input + 1 panel on Solar input), about 800 W.

Quick answers

Will the EcoFlow 400W Portable Solar Panel work with the BLUETTI Apex 300?

Yes. One EcoFlow 400W Portable Solar Panel works with the BLUETTI Apex 300: about 52.6 V on a 20°F morning against the station's 60 V limit, and about 400 W in full sun. Two panels: works (1 panel on Solar input + 1 panel on Solar input), about 800 W.

Can I connect two 400W Portable Solar Panel panels to the Apex 300?

Yes, 1 panel on Solar input + 1 panel on Solar input. That gives about 800 W.

What cable do I need to connect the 400W Portable Solar Panel to the Apex 300?

Use the solar charging cable that came with the station (MC4 on the panel side).

Is it safe on a cold morning?

Panel voltage rises in the cold. One 400W Portable Solar Panel goes from 48 V on its label to about 52.6 V at 20°F and 54.2 V at 0°F. The Apex 300 accepts up to 60 V on the Solar input.

Rules we applied
  • BLUETTI Apex 300: solar input 12 to 60 V on the Solar in 1 (Solar input). BLUETTI sets this limit on open-circuit voltage (Voc), so we hold the panels' Voc on your coldest morning to it.
  • Cold raises panel voltage: we add 0.30% per °C below 77F (25°C), a typical figure, since this panel does not publish its own. At 20F one panel's 48 V becomes 52.6 V.
  • Current over the 20 A cap is safe: the station takes 20 A and you get fewer watts. We count only the capped watts.
  • Max 1,200 W on this input, 2,400 W across all inputs.
Assumptions
  • Cold-morning voltage uses 0.30% per °C, typical for crystalline panels. This panel's own value is not published.
  • Expected watts are the best case in full sun. Real-world midday output is usually 60 to 80% of that.
  • Some numbers for EcoFlow 400W Portable Solar Panel come from a shop listing we have not confirmed in the manual yet.
