Will the Rich Solar MEGA 100 work with the Anker SOLIX C1000X Gen 2?

Yes. One Rich Solar MEGA 100 works with the Anker SOLIX C1000X Gen 2: about 25 V on a 20°F morning against the station's 60 V limit, and about 100 W in full sun. Two panels: works (2 panels in series on XT60i), about 200 W.

Verdict

Works

1 x MEGA 100 into the C1000X Gen 2 (1 panel on XT60i) stays inside 11 to 60 V and under 8.2 A, even at 20F.

Quick answers

Will the Rich Solar MEGA 100 work with the Anker SOLIX C1000X Gen 2?

Yes. One Rich Solar MEGA 100 works with the Anker SOLIX C1000X Gen 2: about 25 V on a 20°F morning against the station's 60 V limit, and about 100 W in full sun. Two panels: works (2 panels in series on XT60i), about 200 W.

Can I connect two MEGA 100 panels to the C1000X Gen 2?

Yes, 2 panels in series on XT60i. That gives about 200 W.

What cable do I need to connect the MEGA 100 to the C1000X Gen 2?

Use an MC4 to XT60i solar cable.

Is it safe on a cold morning?

Panel voltage rises in the cold. One MEGA 100 goes from 22.8 V on its label to about 25 V at 20°F and 25.7 V at 0°F. The C1000X Gen 2 accepts up to 60 V on the XT60i.

Rules we applied
  • Anker SOLIX C1000X Gen 2: solar input 11 to 60 V on the Solar in (XT60i). Anker SOLIX sets this limit on open-circuit voltage (Voc), so we hold the panels' Voc on your coldest morning to it.
  • Cold raises panel voltage: we add 0.30% per °C below 77F (25°C), a typical figure, since this panel does not publish its own. At 20F one panel's 22.8 V becomes 25 V.
  • Current over the 8.2 A cap is safe: the station takes 8.2 A and you get fewer watts. We count only the capped watts.
  • Max 600 W on this input.
Assumptions
  • Cold-morning voltage uses 0.30% per °C, typical for crystalline panels. This panel's own value is not published.
  • Expected watts are the best case in full sun. Real-world midday output is usually 60 to 80% of that.
