The panels can push 19.6A but this input takes 14.5A, so the station caps it. Safe, you just lose some watts.

Open-circuit voltage 96V is above the station's 60V limit. Going over a station's input voltage limit can damage it.

Quick answers

Will the EcoFlow 400W Portable Solar Panel work with the Anker SOLIX C1000X Gen 2?

Yes. One EcoFlow 400W Portable Solar Panel works with the Anker SOLIX C1000X Gen 2: about 52.6 V on a 20°F morning against the station's 60 V limit, and about 400 W in full sun. Two panels: works (2 panels in parallel on XT60i), about 595 W.

Can I connect two 400W Portable Solar Panel panels to the C1000X Gen 2?

Yes, 2 panels in parallel on XT60i. That gives about 595 W.

What cable do I need to connect the 400W Portable Solar Panel to the C1000X Gen 2?

Use an MC4 to XT60i solar cable.

Is it safe on a cold morning?

Panel voltage rises in the cold. One 400W Portable Solar Panel goes from 48 V on its label to about 52.6 V at 20°F and 54.2 V at 0°F. The C1000X Gen 2 accepts up to 60 V on the XT60i.

Rules we applied
  • Anker SOLIX C1000X Gen 2: solar input 11 to 60 V on the Solar in (XT60i). Anker SOLIX sets this limit on open-circuit voltage (Voc), so we hold the panels' Voc on your coldest morning to it.
  • Cold raises panel voltage: we add 0.30% per °C below 77F (25°C), a typical figure, since this panel does not publish its own. At 20F one panel's 48 V becomes 52.6 V.
  • Current over the 14.5 A cap is safe: the station takes 14.5 A and you get fewer watts. We count only the capped watts.
  • Max 600 W on this input.
Assumptions
  • Cold-morning voltage uses 0.30% per °C, typical for crystalline panels. This panel's own value is not published.
  • Expected watts are the best case in full sun. Real-world midday output is usually 60 to 80% of that.
  • Some numbers for EcoFlow 400W Portable Solar Panel come from a shop listing we have not confirmed in the manual yet.
