The four numbers on the label
Every panel has a sticker on the back with these. The station cares about the first two most.
The highest voltage the panel makes, with nothing plugged in. This must stay under the station's limit, including on cold mornings.
The most current it can push. Stations cap current; over the cap you lose watts, or on some brands it is not allowed.
The working voltage while charging. Must be above the station's minimum or charging will not start.
The working current while charging. Vmp times Imp is roughly the rated watts.
Why it matters: a station's input limit is a hard number. Two of these panels in series on a 10F morning make 47.8 V. That is fine for a 60 V input and not for a 27 V one.
