Will the Anker SOLIX PS200 Bifacial work with the Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus?

Yes, with a catch. On a 20°F (-7°C) morning the open-circuit voltage can reach about 63.1V, above 60V. Two panels: works, with a catch (1 panel on DC8020 + 1 panel on DC8020), about 400 W.

  • Jackery's manual: if you use both inputs, put the same type and the same number of panels on each, or uneven voltages can cause damage or charging problems.
  • Three or four panels need Jackery's solar series connector. The manual also shows wiring methods that are not allowed, so check that page before you wire.

Quick answers

Will the Anker SOLIX PS200 Bifacial work with the Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus?

Yes, with a catch. On a 20°F (-7°C) morning the open-circuit voltage can reach about 63.1V, above 60V. Two panels: works, with a catch (1 panel on DC8020 + 1 panel on DC8020), about 400 W.

Can I connect two PS200 Bifacial panels to the Explorer 2000 Plus?

Yes, 1 panel on DC8020 + 1 panel on DC8020. That gives about 400 W, with one catch: On a 20°F (-7°C) morning the open-circuit voltage can reach about 63.1V, above 60V..

What cable do I need to connect the PS200 Bifacial to the Explorer 2000 Plus?

The panel's plug type is not confirmed yet. Check the label or the box before buying a cable.

Is it safe on a cold morning?

Panel voltage rises in the cold. One PS200 Bifacial goes from 57.6 V on its label to about 63.1 V at 20°F and 65 V at 0°F. The Explorer 2000 Plus accepts up to 60 V on the DC8020.

Rules we applied
  • Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus: solar input 11 to 60 V on the Solar in 1 (DC8020). Jackery rates this input by working voltage (Vmp), so that is the number we hold to the limit. We still warn when the cold-morning open-circuit voltage goes over it.
  • Cold raises panel voltage: we add 0.30% per °C below 77F (25°C), a typical figure, since this panel does not publish its own. At 20F one panel's 57.6 V becomes 63.1 V.
  • Current over the 12 A cap is safe: the station takes 12 A and you get fewer watts. We count only the capped watts.
  • Max 700 W on this input, 1,400 W across all inputs.
Assumptions
  • Cold-morning voltage uses 0.30% per °C, typical for crystalline panels. This panel's own value is not published.
  • Expected watts are the best case in full sun. Real-world midday output is usually 60 to 80% of that.
  • Some numbers for Anker SOLIX PS200 Bifacial come from a shop listing we have not confirmed in the manual yet.
