Will the BLUETTI PV200D work with the Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus?

Yes. One BLUETTI PV200D works with the Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus: about 26.9 V on a 20°F morning against the station's 60 V limit, and about 198 W in full sun. Two panels: works (1 panel on DC8020 + 1 panel on DC8020), about 396 W.

Verdict

Works

1 x PV200D into the Explorer 1000 Plus (1 panel on DC8020) stays inside 12 to 60 V and under 11 A, even at 20F.

Quick answers

Will the BLUETTI PV200D work with the Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus?

Yes. One BLUETTI PV200D works with the Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus: about 26.9 V on a 20°F morning against the station's 60 V limit, and about 198 W in full sun. Two panels: works (1 panel on DC8020 + 1 panel on DC8020), about 396 W.

Can I connect two PV200D panels to the Explorer 1000 Plus?

Yes, 1 panel on DC8020 + 1 panel on DC8020. That gives about 396 W.

What cable do I need to connect the PV200D to the Explorer 1000 Plus?

The panel's plug type is not confirmed yet. Check the label or the box before buying a cable.

Is it safe on a cold morning?

Panel voltage rises in the cold. One PV200D goes from 24.6 V on its label to about 26.9 V at 20°F and 27.8 V at 0°F. The Explorer 1000 Plus accepts up to 60 V on the DC8020.

Rules we applied
  • Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus: solar input 12 to 60 V on the Solar in 1 (DC8020). Jackery rates this input by working voltage (Vmp), so that is the number we hold to the limit. We still warn when the cold-morning open-circuit voltage goes over it.
  • Cold raises panel voltage: we add 0.30% per °C below 77F (25°C), a typical figure, since this panel does not publish its own. At 20F one panel's 24.6 V becomes 26.9 V.
  • Current over the 11 A cap is safe: the station takes 11 A and you get fewer watts. We count only the capped watts.
  • Max 400 W on this input, 800 W across all inputs.
Assumptions
  • Cold-morning voltage uses 0.30% per °C, typical for crystalline panels. This panel's own value is not published.
  • Expected watts are the best case in full sun. Real-world midday output is usually 60 to 80% of that.
