Will the Anker SOLIX PS200 Bifacial work with the Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus?

Yes, with a catch. On a 20°F (-7°C) morning the open-circuit voltage can reach about 63.1V, above 60V. Two panels: works, with a catch (1 panel on DC8020 + 1 panel on DC8020), about 400 W.

Quick answers

Will the Anker SOLIX PS200 Bifacial work with the Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus?

Yes, with a catch. On a 20°F (-7°C) morning the open-circuit voltage can reach about 63.1V, above 60V. Two panels: works, with a catch (1 panel on DC8020 + 1 panel on DC8020), about 400 W.

Can I connect two PS200 Bifacial panels to the Explorer 1000 Plus?

Yes, 1 panel on DC8020 + 1 panel on DC8020. That gives about 400 W, with one catch: On a 20°F (-7°C) morning the open-circuit voltage can reach about 63.1V, above 60V..

What cable do I need to connect the PS200 Bifacial to the Explorer 1000 Plus?

The panel's plug type is not confirmed yet. Check the label or the box before buying a cable.

Is it safe on a cold morning?

Panel voltage rises in the cold. One PS200 Bifacial goes from 57.6 V on its label to about 63.1 V at 20°F and 65 V at 0°F. The Explorer 1000 Plus accepts up to 60 V on the DC8020.

Rules we applied
  • Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus: solar input 12 to 60 V on the Solar in 1 (DC8020). Jackery rates this input by working voltage (Vmp), so that is the number we hold to the limit. We still warn when the cold-morning open-circuit voltage goes over it.
  • Cold raises panel voltage: we add 0.30% per °C below 77F (25°C), a typical figure, since this panel does not publish its own. At 20F one panel's 57.6 V becomes 63.1 V.
  • Current over the 11 A cap is safe: the station takes 11 A and you get fewer watts. We count only the capped watts.
  • Max 400 W on this input, 800 W across all inputs.
Assumptions
  • Cold-morning voltage uses 0.30% per °C, typical for crystalline panels. This panel's own value is not published.
  • Expected watts are the best case in full sun. Real-world midday output is usually 60 to 80% of that.
  • Some numbers for Anker SOLIX PS200 Bifacial come from a shop listing we have not confirmed in the manual yet.
