Will the EcoFlow NextGen 160W Portable Solar Panel work with the EcoFlow DELTA Pro?

Yes. One EcoFlow NextGen 160W Portable Solar Panel works with the EcoFlow DELTA Pro: about 23.3 V on a 20°F morning against the station's 150 V limit, and about 160 W in full sun. Two panels: works (2 panels in series on Solar input), about 320 W.

Quick answers

Will the EcoFlow NextGen 160W Portable Solar Panel work with the EcoFlow DELTA Pro?

Yes. One EcoFlow NextGen 160W Portable Solar Panel works with the EcoFlow DELTA Pro: about 23.3 V on a 20°F morning against the station's 150 V limit, and about 160 W in full sun. Two panels: works (2 panels in series on Solar input), about 320 W.

Can I connect two NextGen 160W Portable Solar Panel panels to the DELTA Pro?

Yes, 2 panels in series on Solar input. That gives about 320 W.

What cable do I need to connect the NextGen 160W Portable Solar Panel to the DELTA Pro?

Use the solar charging cable that came with the station (MC4 on the panel side).

Is it safe on a cold morning?

Panel voltage rises in the cold. One NextGen 160W Portable Solar Panel goes from 21.3 V on its label to about 23.3 V at 20°F and 24 V at 0°F. The DELTA Pro accepts up to 150 V on the Solar input.

Rules we applied
  • EcoFlow DELTA Pro: solar input 11 to 150 V on the Solar in (Solar input). EcoFlow sets this limit on open-circuit voltage (Voc), so we hold the panels' Voc on your coldest morning to it.
  • Cold raises panel voltage: we add 0.30% per °C below 77F (25°C), a typical figure, since this panel does not publish its own. At 20F one panel's 21.3 V becomes 23.3 V.
  • Current over the 15 A cap is safe: the station takes 15 A and you get fewer watts. We count only the capped watts.
  • Max 1,600 W on this input.
Assumptions
  • Cold-morning voltage uses 0.30% per °C, typical for crystalline panels. This panel's own value is not published.
  • Expected watts are the best case in full sun. Real-world midday output is usually 60 to 80% of that.
