Will the EcoFlow 400W Portable Solar Panel work with the EcoFlow DELTA Pro Ultra X?

No. Open-circuit voltage 48V is below the 80V minimum for this input, so it will not start charging. Two panels: works (2 panels in series on High-PV), about 800 W.

Quick answers

Will the EcoFlow 400W Portable Solar Panel work with the EcoFlow DELTA Pro Ultra X?

No. Open-circuit voltage 48V is below the 80V minimum for this input, so it will not start charging. Two panels: works (2 panels in series on High-PV), about 800 W.

Can I connect two 400W Portable Solar Panel panels to the DELTA Pro Ultra X?

Yes, 2 panels in series on High-PV. That gives about 800 W.

Is it safe on a cold morning?

Panel voltage rises in the cold. One 400W Portable Solar Panel goes from 48 V on its label to about 52.6 V at 20°F and 54.2 V at 0°F. The DELTA Pro Ultra X accepts up to 500 V on the High-PV.

Rules we applied
  • EcoFlow DELTA Pro Ultra X: solar input 80 to 500 V on the Solar in 1 (High-PV). EcoFlow sets this limit on open-circuit voltage (Voc), so we hold the panels' Voc on your coldest morning to it.
  • Cold raises panel voltage: we add 0.30% per °C below 77F (25°C), a typical figure, since this panel does not publish its own. At 20F one panel's 48 V becomes 52.6 V.
  • Current over the 15 A cap is safe: the station takes 15 A and you get fewer watts. We count only the capped watts.
  • Max 5,000 W on this input, 10,000 W across all inputs.
Assumptions
  • Cold-morning voltage uses 0.30% per °C, typical for crystalline panels. This panel's own value is not published.
  • Expected watts are the best case in full sun. Real-world midday output is usually 60 to 80% of that.
  • Some numbers for EcoFlow 400W Portable Solar Panel come from a shop listing we have not confirmed in the manual yet.
