Will the Anker SOLIX PS400 Bifacial work with the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus?

Yes, with a catch. Fine in mild weather (57.6V), but on a 20°F (-7°C) morning the open-circuit voltage rises to about 63.1V, above the 60V limit. Cold makes panels push more voltage. Two panels: works, with a catch (1 panel on XT60i + 1 panel on XT60i), about 800 W.

  • EcoFlow's manual: keep the total open-circuit voltage within 60V and the total short-circuit current within 15A on each input, or the station can be damaged.
  • Short-circuit current is printed on the panel label as Isc. It is a little higher than the working current, so two panels in parallel usually go over 15A.
  • If the solar icon on the screen flashes, the light is too weak or the voltage is too high or too low.
  • When solar and wall power are both plugged in, the station uses solar first.
  • 57.6 V open circuit: above the 55-60 V limit of many smaller stations even as a single panel on a cold morning.
Cables to buy
  • Use an MC4 to XT60i solar cable.

Quick answers

Will the Anker SOLIX PS400 Bifacial work with the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus?

Yes, with a catch. Fine in mild weather (57.6V), but on a 20°F (-7°C) morning the open-circuit voltage rises to about 63.1V, above the 60V limit. Cold makes panels push more voltage. Two panels: works, with a catch (1 panel on XT60i + 1 panel on XT60i), about 800 W.

Can I connect two PS400 Bifacial panels to the DELTA 3 Plus?

Yes, 1 panel on XT60i + 1 panel on XT60i. That gives about 800 W, with one catch: Fine in mild weather (57.6V), but on a 20°F (-7°C) morning the open-circuit voltage rises to about 63.1V, above the 60V limit. Cold makes panels push more voltage..

What cable do I need to connect the PS400 Bifacial to the DELTA 3 Plus?

Use an MC4 to XT60i solar cable.

Is it safe on a cold morning?

Panel voltage rises in the cold. One PS400 Bifacial goes from 57.6 V on its label to about 63.1 V at 20°F and 65 V at 0°F. The DELTA 3 Plus accepts up to 60 V on the XT60i.

Rules we applied
  • EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus: solar input 11 to 60 V on the Solar in 1 (XT60i). EcoFlow sets this limit on open-circuit voltage (Voc), so we hold the panels' Voc on your coldest morning to it.
  • Cold raises panel voltage: we add 0.30% per °C below 77F (25°C), a typical figure, since this panel does not publish its own. At 20F one panel's 57.6 V becomes 63.1 V.
  • EcoFlow says to keep the total short-circuit current (Isc) within 15 A on each input. Over it, we say Don't connect.
  • Max 500 W on this input, 1,000 W across all inputs.
Assumptions
  • Cold-morning voltage uses 0.30% per °C, typical for crystalline panels. This panel's own value is not published.
  • Expected watts are the best case in full sun. Real-world midday output is usually 60 to 80% of that.
  • Some numbers for Anker SOLIX PS400 Bifacial come from a shop listing we have not confirmed in the manual yet.
