Will the Jackery SolarSaga 100 Air work with the BLUETTI AC70?

Yes. One Jackery SolarSaga 100 Air works with the BLUETTI AC70: about 32.5 V on a 20°F morning against the station's 58 V limit, and about 100 W in full sun. Two panels: works (2 panels in parallel on XT60 (XT60PM-M)), about 200 W.

1 x SolarSaga 100 Air into the AC70 (1 panel on XT60 (XT60PM-M)) stays inside 12 to 58 V and under 10 A, even at 20F.

  • BLUETTI's manual: do not use panels above 58V open-circuit voltage. That is lower than the 60V limit on the AC180.
  • Do not mix different types of panels, and use at least 100W of panels.
  • With 500W of sun the AC70 is full in about 2 hours and stops charging. That is normal, not a fault.
  • Bifacial: Jackery also rates it at 110 W with light on the back (BNPI); the checker uses the front-only figures.
Cables to buy
  • Use an MC4 to XT60 solar cable.

Quick answers

Will the Jackery SolarSaga 100 Air work with the BLUETTI AC70?

Yes. One Jackery SolarSaga 100 Air works with the BLUETTI AC70: about 32.5 V on a 20°F morning against the station's 58 V limit, and about 100 W in full sun. Two panels: works (2 panels in parallel on XT60 (XT60PM-M)), about 200 W.

Can I connect two SolarSaga 100 Air panels to the AC70?

Yes, 2 panels in parallel on XT60 (XT60PM-M). That gives about 200 W.

What cable do I need to connect the SolarSaga 100 Air to the AC70?

Use an MC4 to XT60 solar cable.

Is it safe on a cold morning?

Panel voltage rises in the cold. One SolarSaga 100 Air goes from 29.7 V on its label to about 32.5 V at 20°F and 33.5 V at 0°F. The AC70 accepts up to 58 V on the XT60 (XT60PM-M).

Rules we applied
  • BLUETTI AC70: solar input 12 to 58 V on the Solar in (XT60 (XT60PM-M)). BLUETTI sets this limit on open-circuit voltage (Voc), so we hold the panels' Voc on your coldest morning to it.
  • Cold raises panel voltage: we add 0.30% per °C below 77F (25°C), a typical figure, since this panel does not publish its own. At 20F one panel's 29.7 V becomes 32.5 V.
  • Current over the 10 A cap is safe: the station takes 10 A and you get fewer watts. We count only the capped watts.
  • Max 500 W on this input.
Assumptions
  • Cold-morning voltage uses 0.30% per °C, typical for crystalline panels. This panel's own value is not published.
  • Expected watts are the best case in full sun. Real-world midday output is usually 60 to 80% of that.
